PE and Wellness
PE NEWS
All students started class by rotating through six fitness stations. Each class did some PACER practice. We'll do one that counts laps the week of the 29th. We practiced raquet skills with bean bags, tennis balls, rubber balls, and balloons. Students worked individually with a raquet and one of those items, hit balls against the wall to practice strokes, or used balloons with a partner to practice rallying. Grades 3-5 wore pedometers to monitor their acitivity level and most students reached or passed 2,000 steps, about a mile.
