Husky Highlights

Halloween Costumes

This Friday, October 29th students are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes to school. Bright Beginnings students will wear their costumes on Thursday since they do not have school on Fridays. As previously stated, please make sure students wear regular shoes and no weapons are allowed to be brought in. Students are still required to wear a mask to school that day so please keep that in mind. A reminder that we are foregoing the distribution of goodie bags. We are looking forward to a fun day!

Veterans Day

This year we want to honor our Stevens family veterans by collecting the names of our student's parents or grandparents that have served, or are serving in one of the military branches. We have several veterans that we will continue to honor from years past. If your family is new to Rocky Hill, or you are a kindergarten family, please fill out the Google Form link to provide us with the information we need to make Veterans Day special for them. Please fill it out by Friday, October 29th.

Our Fire Prevention Assembly will be held outside with the Rocky Hill Fire Department on Monday, November 1st. Students will get to see the fire trucks and receive a booklet with safety information.

National Hispanic Month

This month students have been working in art classes to learn about Hispanic art and artist. Throughout the year students will be traveling around the world with their "Passport to Art". Here are some examples of the art and artists students are learning about by grade level. Ms. Miller has an exciting year of travel planned for our students!

From the Desk of Ms. Galligan

Ms. Galligan is the new Rocky Hill district instructional technology facilitator. She has put together some excellent information for parents and guardian to help guide their families navigate the technology that is at our students fingertips. I will add new tips and links from her throughout the year.
