HIV/AIDS Presentation 6th & 7th Grades & Information Nights
Parents of 6th Grade Students: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the need for remote learning during the spring of 2020, 5th-grade students were not able to participate in the HIV/AIDS Prevention Education Program. Therefore, during the 2020-2021 school year 6th-grade students will also participate in the HIV/AIDS Prevention Education Program. Please click here for information regarding a 6th grade parent night and previewing the HIV/AIDS & Growth/ Development curriculum prior to it being introduced in their science classes.
Please be on the lookout for an Opt-Out form coming out to 6th and 7th parents - sometime shortly after the district presentation dates.
Future 2021-22 7th Graders (all 6th graders)
Dear Parents/Guardians,
All students must be compliant with the immunization requirements for schools established by the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) and the State of Oklahoma for the 2021-2022school year.
Your student’s immunization record can be viewed on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
If you have updated immunization records, please send them to the email address listed below before the end of school – May 28, 2021.
Please note:
● All students entering the 7th grade in 21-22 school year will be required to provide
documentation of a Tdap booster (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) given at age 10 years
or above.
This record can be emailed to immunizations@edmondschools.net
● Your student will not be allowed to pick up their school schedule until all
immunization requirements are met.
Additional information regarding how to meet the immunization requirements can be found on this website.
