Attendance Hotline
MUSD Illness Protocols and Attendance
We are providing the following information to clarify our protocols for attendance during the Covid-19 pandemic. If your student is showing any of the following symptoms (see Symptom tree below) that could be Covid-19, they are to remain home. Please do not send your student to school if they have symptoms.
If your student has symptoms, they will need to follow our flowsheet guidance and follow up with Pediatrics or the Mono County Health Department to be tested for Covid-19. Please see the flowchart below, and these are also linked to our website here.. Students who test negative for Covid-19 will need to submit the test results to the school in order for your student to come back in 5 days from illness onset and no fever in the last 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medications. Negative PCR results can be emailed to: cmoxley@mammothusd.org
OptumServe Covid-19 Testing:Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays: 11:00 a.m. to 7:00pm., Mammoth Lakes Foundation (100 College Parkway). OPEN to the public, all ages, regardless of insurance. Appointments preferred but walk-ins welcome. Pre-Registration available here.
