Trying new things
This school year has certainly been different than most. We have had to learn how to do new things and be in the world in a way that is new to all of us. Thanksgiving is coming and we know that people will be trying new things and it may not look the same as it has in the past. This week we will share some ideas to celebrate the season. As a nursing team we send you our best and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve our MPSD family.
Exercise for fun!
The link on the button below will take you to The Turkey Trot Website sponsored by Festival Foods. (This is not an Advertisement for Festival Foods.) This is a way you could spend time together as a family. If you are into running there is a run or a two mile walk. Fresh air, exercise, and family. It is practically perfect.
Napkin Folding
Not crafty? Not Fancy? That's ok. We are trying new things! Check out the samples below. See if you can fold your napkins fancy (Don't need to have cloth - paper is fine!) You and your family can try something new - and your table will be lovely.
Where do I start with saying, "Thank you" ?
Scientists say, " Gratitude is about taking a moment and holding on to it." That is a quote from the link to the TED talk below. The TED talk is by an author who set out to say Thank you to everyone who was responsible for his cup of coffee. You don't have to like coffee to learn something from this talk.
