Did you know elephants eat between 149 and 169kgs a day. They spend sixteen to
eighteen hours a day eaten. They consume small twigs, grasses, plants, and lots of other stuff. Tree bark is there favorite because it contains calcium roughage. Elephants drink 55 tons of water a day.
Habitats
There are two types of elephants Africa and Asia. African elephants are bigger than Asian ones. They both live in grasslands and desserts. Africa and Asia are the main places. And they also live in India. Did you know they love to live in scrub rain forests.
