The students will begin working with translating chemical symbols and the chemical formulas of common substances. They will also be responsible for identifying the reactants and products in chemical equations. There will be a quiz on Standards 7-5.1 through 7-5.4 on Thursday the 11th and they will have a study guide on Monday.

Students are studying The Growth of European Nationalism and Independence movements in Latin American. As an introductory activity, each student or small group conducted a mini-research project on one important leader during this era we are studying. They had choices about the presentation. They could create a Power Point or an IMovie using their IPads.
Dance - Mrs. Brewington
7th Rotation: The time has come! Students will report to school at 5:30 PM. "I want You Back." Performance is at 6:00 PM on December 9th for a grade. Students will wear black pants with white cami for girls, white t-shirt underneath tie dye shirts. Eight dollars is still needed the for costume. Encourage your child to check for class updates, video clips, and worksheets on google classroom.
7th dance focus: We have completed our swing dance for the March performance. We will watch the Nutcracker and compare contrast the New York City ballet version with the version we saw live in Greenville. Art rotation will be working on clay postcards.
