Vanessa Obeng
Vanessa graduated from BHS Dance and is currently in her second season as a new England Patriots Cheerleader.
Max Zeugner
Max is the associate principal bass, The Herbert M. Citrin Chair of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. Through his music studies at Burncoat, Max has traveled the world playing, teaching and conducting.
Jillian Laganelli
A graduate of BHS Theater, Jillian is studying TV production at Hofstra University and interns at Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.
Grade 5 American Music Field Trip to Mechanics Hall
On October 3rd, more than 1400 fifth graders will attend the American Composers Concert at Mechanics Hall, sponsored by the Worcester Educational Development Foundation and the Stoddard Charitable Trust. Teachers, click here for access to pre and post trip resources.

Burncoat UNITES turns 2!
UNITES is coming! The Worcester Public Schools is proud to announce our student led after school ensembles program for student musicians in grades 4-9. Starting, October 12th, we meet Wednesdays and Thursdays at Burncoat Middle School participating in homework sessions, small group lessons, orchestra, band and special music sessions. Worcester Contradance
The Worcester Contradance Society meets monthly. Lessons begin at 7PM with dancing until 10:30PM. Families are welcome. For a list of bands and more information, visit their website here. Contradance is New England style folkdancing and is a great way to learn concepts such as sequencing and patterns.
