Summary of last year:

Over 6,000 internship hours completed by our young professionals.

First Day: Monday, August 14th

Our morning session starts at 9:00 AM and runs until 11:30 AM. Our afternoon session kicks off at 12:30 PM and ends at 3:00 PM. Should you have a conflict that causes you to be late please don't worry about that on our first day. We will sort out any conflicts, including lunch during our first few days in session.

Dress Code:

We will go over the CAPS dress code during boot camp. However, should you want to get a head start here are a few key points and examples. Monday-Thursday professional attire is required. In other words, students are to dress for the industry they are exploring.

Medical students typically wear scrubs daily. Black, or grey solid print scrubs are acceptable. Scrubs can be purchased anywhere you would like.

Engineering students typically wear jeans, slacks or pants without holes, collared shirts such as polo's or blouses. Crop tops, Tank tops, T-shirts, spaghetti strap tops and or hooded sweatshirts and hats are not allowed.

Business students typically wear slacks, khaki's, skirts, dresses or pants with a collared shirt such as polo, dress shirt or blouse. Crop tops, Tank tops, T-shirts, spaghetti strap tops and or hooded sweatshirts and hats are not allowed

Create students typically dress similar to Business students but vary depending on the nature of their work.

Friday's we reserve for business casual attire unless otherwise noted. The typical attire CAPS students wear will not be enforced on the first day, as we like to go over any questions students may have.

"The Spring '23 semester was so much fun due to the young professionals we had and what they were able to accomplish! What I'm most excited about this new school year is to continue helping our students learn about future career paths, develop skills relevant to those careers, and continuing to develop relationships with local businesses in order to provide our CAPS young professionals with such unique experiences."
