Day: He grow up poor and when he was ten he failed his trail test. Now he lives on the streets. His family does not know that he is alive but he does what he can to help his family. The Republic is after him because he messes with there air ships and steal's medicine.
June: She grow up rich and did not have to worry about if she would have food that night or not. When she was ten she took the trail test. She got a 100% on her test. This means she was going to be in the military and would still be rich. Her parents died in a car crash when she was young. Her brother is a high ranking officer in the military and does what he can to help his little sister. The Republic is eager for June to finish her training and join the military so she hunt Day.
Marie Lu is a fantastic writer. A well written, very satisfying read
