November 13, 2015
Dear LP Families:
Happy Friday the 13th! It was a great week at LP, including a day in the middle to reflect on the impact that our Veterans have had on our freedom.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, our staff has assembled the LP turkey, pictured below. Each staff member was given a "feather" to write what he/she is thankful for this year. Enjoy!
We are looking forward to seeing all of you in this building on November 23 and 24 for parent-teacher conferences.
I hope you enjoy this weekend with family and friends.

Recess During the Winter Months
Please see the bullets below for some general reminders regarding outdoor recess during the winter months:
- Decisions about staying inside will be made by the Main Office Staff just prior to the start of the lunch period.
- In the winter, snow pants are encouraged, but not mandatory.
- Boots are required to have full access to the playground during the winter.
Below is a sending a link to the District web site which will take you to the item about a public forum and the upcoming capital project vote. Please reference The Point (our district newsletter), which gives building by building details of the anticipated work.
Meet Mr. Pete Crescimanni
You might be surprised to know that I was once a garbage man, a mail man, and a wedding photographer.
I would love to meet John Tavares (NHL Player)
My favorite sports team is the NY Islanders (although I cheer for the Sabres too)
I keep healthy by staying active coaching, chasing my kids around, and helping them with hockey.
Last summer I worked at summer school, painted houses, and played "Mr. Mom."
When I am not at LP I am busy with my three children (Nicholas (4), Isabella (6), and Joey (9).
Right now I am reading an autobiography by former NHL linesman Roy Scampinello.
If I had a magic wand... my kids would keep the house clean.
