3A: THE LAST Week at a Glance
week ending June 15, 2018
A Note From Mrs. Adams
I would love to schedule a summer play date! I’m going to shoot for a weekday evening probably July 11th or 12th. I’ll look into ideas, whether it be skating at ISC, Darts of War Nerf place, Pop Shop ice cream, or ice cream in town. I’ll keep you all posted and hope to see as many of you as I can!
Have a VERY happy FATHER'S DAY, dads, and an amazing summer to all!

Summer Reading
Summer Reading Program Haddonfield Library
- Children should spend an average of at least 20 minutes per day engaged in reading.
- Take pictures of your summer reading adventures and share them on Twitter: #haddonfieldsummerreading
- Have your child return his or her completed game card to the Haddonfield Public Library by 9/5/18 to receive a prize. You do not need to give a copy of the completed game card to your child’s teacher.
- Haddonfield Elementary Students (K-4) are encouraged to “get caught reading” over the summer. Take a picture of your child/children reading during the summer. Print the photo (photos can be printed on computer paper), write your child’s name and grade on the back of the photo. Give the photo to your child’s teacher in September. Photos will be displayed on a bulletin board to celebrate summer reading.

Summer Reading Practice
If you'd like your child to do a little reading comprehension practice over the summer, here are a bunch of short stories with questions for students entering fourth grade. Also below is the answer guide to the packet (so parents, no thinking involved for you!) :)

Pizza Box Portfolios
Written by 3A
This week at school we took home all of our work from 3A this year. We put things in the pizza box like math projects, landform examples, area and perimeter projects, and writing projects. We decorated our boxes and put all of our memories from third grade in it. Some of our work was from the very beginning of the year, so it brought back memories when we looked at it. We hope you have fun looking through it at home and saving it for many years!
