Behaviors - End of Year Events
As we near the end of the year, we have a number of special events for our students to participate in. Unfortunately, with the excitement of the end of the year and summer coming, we are seeing an increased number of misbehaviors. Students are being sent to the office and teachers and leadership are spending many hours emailing and / or meeting with parents about their child's inappropriate behavior. This all has the effect on not only our teaching, but the learning of classmates who are here to progress and do well.
These events are privileges. Because we want to celebrate and reward our students who have learned and grown this past school year, those students who continue to misbehave and disrupt their own and others learning through physical or verbal aggression will not be permitted to attend any and / or all of our planned end of year events and remain at home on the day of the event.
Decisions of this magnitude will be made by the elementary school leadership and be final.
After School Activities and Tutoring
The last day for After School Activities or Tutoring is May 31. There will be no After School Activities beginning the week of June 2 to the end of the school year.
