LIBRARY NEWS
All of the great things going on in the library!
FREE BOOKS
We are weeding lots of books from our library. Many of these books would be more appropriate for a classroom than the school library. We have titles of interest to all levels, including enrichment. Please come and browse our weeded books and build your classroom library at no cost! Weeding will continue throughout the end of the school year, so keep checking back.
Let's Collaborate!
Teachers, a huge part of my job is to support YOU!! The library has many resources to support your lessons. If there is a particular subject or unite that you'd like reinforced during students' library time, please let me know. If I have a week's notice, I can build a great lesson. Shouts out to Ms. Owens, Ms. Hatter and Ms. Hanna for utilizing the library for this purpose.
It's STAR testing time!
Students will be assessed this week using the STAR diagnostic test in AR. Please remember to bring your students' library cards so that we can make the level changes on the back of them. You will received reports on their new scores/levels from Mrs. Banks.
It's almost time for Read Across America Week
Dr. Joseph Samuel Clark Elementary loves Dr. Seuss! On Wednesday March 2, we will have our annual Seuss program with our community readers for each class. Details to follow.
