Self Care
We hope that this letter finds you all well and safe. As we have all made the transition to a new way of life, we know that this different routine may bring your family some challenges. Our goal is to help with those challenges in any way we can. We would like to bring you bi-weekly newsletters to try and spread some positivity, information, and resources on a variety of topics.
For our first topic, we would like to focus on self care. We hope you enjoy this information and that it helps in some way. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Ms. Paige Agnello, Dr. Dana Marrocco, Dr. Ellyn Stein, Dr. Helena Sroczynski, Mrs. Ashley Joshi, & Mr. Doug Graiver

Teens!
We understand that during this time you may be experiencing a lot of different emotions. It is important to make sure that you are focusing on self care, creating a routine for yourself, and taking the time to have some fun. You may be feeling like you want to go out, hang out with your friends or do some of the things that you used to do for fun outside of the home. We understand and we feel the same way! Please take the time to review some of these fun activities that you can do right from the comfort of your own home. Please also see the posts below for additional ideas!
Creating a Self Care Plan With Your Younger Child
Encourage your child to make a list of all the things that help him or her relax. They can also draw pictures. It may be talking to a friend on the phone, using sidewalk chalk on the driveway, or having a tea party with stuffed animals.Once you have several ideas from each child, post the list in a place where the family can see it. When your child shows signs of restlessness or stress, have them pick something from their list. We also encourage you to try this fun BINGO game!
