Snacks from the Nurse

We are blessed that our sweet Nurse Cindy maintains a supply of snacks in the clinic. While it is wonderful to be able to grab a snack when a student is ill, or has an emergency it is not our regular practice to provide something to eat any time a child forgets their snack at home. Please carefully consider the need before sending a student to the clinic for this purpose. If you have an ongoing concern about a student in need, please contact an administrator. We would be happy to assist! Thank you.

Simulation Assessments -REMINDER

Please plan to return your student test booklets by March 24th. :)

Teacher of the Year

Ballots will be sent out on Monday for our Norton Teacher of the Year! What a terrific sampling of our staff! Thank you for taking the time to nominate; please return your ballot by the end of the day Thursday. Thanks!

Staff Spotlight - Tammy Spann

Where did you grow up? I grew up in a small town called Hollywood, South Carolina and then moved to Charleston, SC in the 8th grade.

Describe your family. I have been married to my husband John for almost 18 year. I have two talented children. Morgan is 13 and will be going to high school next year and Shawn is 9 and my musical genius (according to me.)

What university did you attend? I graduated from South Carolina State University. Go Bulldogs!

What are your favorite activities? I love reading, long walks in the park, and watching Netflix.

If you had $1000 to spend on anything, what would you spend it on? I would either go on a trip to Australia or put it toward building a “tiny house” in my backyard.

What is your favorite reality TV show? I love the Real Housewives of Atlanta.

If you were not a teacher, what would you be? If I weren’t a teacher I would have been a writer.

No staff birthdays this week!
