Choice!
Choice is so important when meeting the needs of individual learners - with engagement, representation, and action and expression. The four learning outcomes I have chosen for my leadership path are outlined below. I will be using Leading 21st-Century Schools by Schrum and Levin (2015) to provide insights into technological leadership.

Learning Outcome No. 1
Learning Outcome
Strand 1: Use and evaluate technologies for school and organizational leaders.
Rationale
I am leading my district with the implementation of its first, fully online courses. The spreadsheet will be made available to course developers to aid them in the creation of our new courses.
Action Plan
I will create a google spreadsheet identifying (1) various technology tools, (2) strategies behind implementing them in your organization, and (3) examples of ways in which each tool could be used.
Learning Outcome No. 2
Learning Outcome
Strand 1: Evaluate and apply strategies for leveraging technologies for leadership tasks
Rationale
I am helping my district to develop its first online courses. It will be important to be well-versed in the data, audience challenges, infrastructure, and staffing concerns.
Action Plan
I will create a proposal for my district to offer its first online courses. I will (1) identify the rationale for moving programs online, including data; (2) target audience; (3) challenges and supports to moving program online, including how to change those barriers into opportunities; (4) infrastructure needed: and (5) additional staff- as though presenting to a committee.
Learning Outcome
Strand 1: Use and evaluate technologies for school and organizational leaders
Rationale
Our district is implementing its first online classes. Course developers and instructors need to know which tools and websites are approved to use. This will save time in the developmental process.
Action Plan
I will create a digital toolbox to evaluate new technologies for use as a school leader in online education.
Learning Outcome
Strand 3: Reflect on your own leadership practices and the leadership practices of others.
