The Cycling of Materials!
Materials in the ecosystem are constantly reused. There are three cycles by which the materials are reused- the carbon cycle, the nitrogen cycle, and the phosphorus cycle.
Examples of the cycles:
Carbon
The process by which carbon is cycled between atmosphere, land, water, and organisms.
Nitrogen
Cycle bu which nitrogen is cycled between the atmosphere, bacteria, and other organisms.
Phosphorus
The movement of phosphorus from the environment to organisms and then back to the environment.
