Watkins Word
Teacher Edition for September 14-18
Greatness never happens by accident!
I saw this quote this week and immediately thought of us. In last week's Watkins Word, we discussed moving our school from good to great. Now it is time for us to begin to think about how we are going to do that because it definitely won't happen by accident. Already, I have seen teachers and students begin this journey through setting goals, assessing students to find out their current level, building students core values that will help them achieve, collaborating on lesson design, and much more! Let's be intentional each week in thinking about what it is we will do to move our school from good to great!

Mrs. O'Quinn will be hosting the SMART Lab mentors today for their annual training meeting. We are so lucky to have a program on our campus that fosters strong relationships between students and caring adults in our community. I can't wait to see how the SMART Lab mentors will impact the students on our campus this year. Thanks Mrs. O'Quinn for all the work and prayers you've put into what you do!
Dual Language Teachers will meet in Romina's room after school at 3:00.
