Book of Impossible Things
In the book we are reading for Global Read Aloud, "Fish in a Tree", the main character, Ally, has a book of impossible things. We started making our own book of impossible things this week. We are sharing them on Twitter so you will see some of them showing up on Facebook. Eventually we will put them together to make a class book. I'm always amazed by the students creativity!
I had moved the deadline for their endangered animal project from this Friday to next Friday (the 6th) and I think that provided everybody with a little breathing room.
There will be a minor change to the RtI forms beginning next week. I have included a self reflection section for each day where students can rate their work habits and also have a place to leave me a note about the days work. They may write questions, comments, and/or concerns in the space so they feel they have a way to communicate during RtI. This will also be a great place for them to note information such as the technology not working, or having to spend a longer amount of time on a certain task so they didn't get all their work finished. I'm hoping this will help alleviate some undo stress with incomplete work, but still hold them accountable for their work. Below is a picture of the new part.
