Fable

"Why Parrot's Are Colorful"

One day the beautiful parrot soared across the tree tops of the jungle. His feathers as pure and white as snow. His cousin, the cockatoo who also had white feathers, was jealous of how the other jungle birds adored him. He hated how they didn't adore him for his white feathers.

The following day when the parrot was about to bathe, the cockatoo dyed the water a rainbow of colors. He wanted only his feathers to be white. The parrot, unaware of the trouble he was in, bathed in the water. When he got out, his feathers were no longer pure. The jealous cockatoo tricked his cousin successfully.
