Parenting in 2021

TikTok and Your Family

If you are a parent who has a child who spends time watching TikTok videos, please know that there is a trend called "Devious Licks" (licks=stealing!) and stealing from schools seems to be the latest "cool" thing to share on TikTok. Stealing from the teacher's desk or stealing masks or the plastic bags of soap from dispensers, etc has been shared by young people around the country (world?!).

While many of you reading this may be thinking, why does this need to be shared with our lil Hawks who are so young? Well, sadly, Wildwood did have a student take a mechanism out of a toilet paper dispenser out and later was found hidden in another location on campus. "Devious Licks" hit Wildwood!

Because our Hawk community works together so beautifully, we WILL work together to ensure our youth uphold good character. Please chat with your child about the importance of character and integrity ~ as will we at school!

Thanks for your continuous support!! It takes a village!! (:
