The Cougar Connection

A Corporation Wide Newsletter

*From Mr. Gaff's Desk*

I was once told that success of the fall sports sets the tone for the school year and ultimately, determines the success of the school. Over the years, I have observed that it has not necessarily determined the schools success, but it has determined the climate of the building. If the teams are successful and the community support is strong, the climate of the building is generally positive. School becomes a place where people want to be, rather than have to be. Stay involved and continue to look for ways to remain positive. GO COUGARS!

In the past several weeks, I have heard words like grit, perseverance, persistence, student-centered classrooms, blended learning, and standards-based instruction. Simply put, there are a bunch of adults working hard to do what is best for kids. Thank you for looking for ways to make Central Noble a place where the kids and community want to be. Stay positive and proactive. Cougar pride begins inside.

It is a great day to be a Cougar! Have a Great Weekend!

*Young Americans Tour*

The Young Americans Tour had it's performances on Saturday, September 16. Central Noble had 45 students participating, along with another 162 students from West Noble, Churubusco, OakFarm and Homeschool! This was an awesome experience for the students and the performances were all the rave on social media. Thanks to Mrs. Behm for the pictures!

*Trick or Treat with a Bus*

Albion is holding it's Trick or Treating on Tuesday, October 31. The Transportation Department will again host Trick or Treat with a Bus in front of Central Office. This was so much fun last year and was great interaction with the community!

Along with the Marketing Committee, we plan to have a few activities and are looking at possibly purchasing some smaller Central Noble items to give away to the Ghosts and Goblins in addition to candy!

Please mark this on your calendars. We will be reaching out in the next week or so with volunteer opportunities as well as requests for activities from various groups. Thanks in advance for your participation!
