News for the week of May 20th

Space Theme Continued

This week we will continue our space theme! The 4K students have been really excited to learn more about space! Below is a video that we showed in class that shows a 2006 space shuttle launch. Students thought this was pretty cool! Later in the week we will be transitioning to our last theme of the school year: "Our Five Senses". We will be doing fun activities, like making silly putty!

Field Trip on Friday

This Friday (May 24th) is our field trip to the Madison Children's Museum. Please remember that we have no regular 4K classes this day. All three 4K classes will be combining to go to the museum. All students need to be dropped off at 9:15 am at the back doors of the elementary school (Liberty Street entrance) unless you have made prior arrangements with me for your child to be picked up by the bus. Chaperones also please meet us at 9:15am. All students need to bring a sack lunch to the field trip. We will be coming back to school at 2:15pm. Again, students need to be picked at the Elementary School Liberty Street entrance at 2:15pm unless you have made prior arrangements with me for the bus to take them home. Please don't hesitate to call or e-mail me if you have any questions. We are looking forward to a fun field trip!

Star of the Week A.M.

Noah did an excellent job as the "Star of the Week"! He did a super job explaining his poster and doing show and tell. Thanks for having your dad visit and show your pet bearded dragon Fred! Thanks for the yummy fruit pizza snack on Friday!
