College and Career Family Night
It’s never too early to start thinking about your child’s college and career, and an event planned for Jan. 25 will start the planning process for Pickerington junior high and middle school students and their parents.
College and Career Family Night on Wednesday, January 25, is for students and their families from both Ridgeview and Lakeview junior high schools, as well as all three middle schools in the district. The free event will begin with pizza at 5 p.m., with presentations running from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lakeview Junior High.
Parents can get more information and register to attend online. Also, below is a flyer with more details about the night and a list of the different sessions available that evening.

Weather Spotter Training
Meteorologists from the National Weather Service (NWS) will provide free training to the citizens of Fairfield County. Storm spotters play an important role in identifying and re- laying important storm-related information to the County Emergency Management Agency (EMA), local public safety officials and the National Weather Service. See the flyer below for more information about this free event that will teach you how to safely observe storms, identify important features of storms, know the visual clues of a tornado, and how to make accurately and timely reports.
PTO Information
The PTO Meeting for February will be February 2, at 6:30 pm in the media center.
Thank you to all parents that helped out for the staff appreciation luncheon today. There were many delicious soups, desserts, bread, and salad. What a great meal for a winter day.
