The library held numerous promotions, events, and contests including Book Madness this past spring. Each day, books went head to head and students voted on their favorite until a Champion was crowned. This year's winner...The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan!
Read Across America Day
To celebrate the wonderful life of Dr. Seuss, the library created a Seuss-themed photo booth. In addition, students participated in a fish estimation contest, and Ms. Minton even ate green eggs and ham on the Raptor Report!
Author Visit: Michael Hall
We were so honored to have Michael Hall, author of many books in our library, including Red: A Crayon's Story, visit and present to our first-grade students. What a treat to see a real-life author!
