Scratch Day

Stacy Petry has created this event with the hope to get more teachers on board with coding/gaming for a day. Scratch has so many possibilities and can add new ideas to classrooms. Stacy has been so kind to set up an invite doc with many resources (attached) and a google classroom code, should anyone want to join that sharing community as well. There is no registration, it's free and fun!

Scheduling Collaborative Seeks PLC Input

Monday, May 9th, 7:45am to Friday, June 3rd, 2:30pm

Departmental PLC Rooms

The Scheduling Collaborative has been diligently working over the past few years to come up with a better schedule for the junior high. We are very close to our final draft, but would like one last round of input from our colleagues in a small group setting. In the coming weeks we would like to meet with your departmental PLC to gain further insight into our schedule and it’s potential. Our goals are to create a schedule that best addresses our educational priorities, and to have a final draft of that schedule by the end of this school year.

We are looking to meet with you, departmentally, during your scheduled PLC time on the following weeks:

  • 7th grade PLC’s: May 9th - May 20th

  • 8th grade PLC’s: May 23 - June 3rd

  • 9th grade, electives, self contained: May 9th - June 3rd

Please have one representative of your PLC contact Matt Maleski to schedule this visit no later than Wednesday, May 4 at 3pm. Thank you!

Administrative Professional's Day is April 27

Thank you to our administrative professionals for all of your hard work and compassion when working with our students, staff and families. We honor all that you do for our school!

  • Meeting Location: Little Egg Harbor Community Center
  • Ending location: Tip Seaman Park – for refreshments and snacks.
  • Gloves, bags and safety vests will be provided by the township and DPW.

Mrs. Rosario's Mother's Day Flower Sale

Hello Wildcat Staff! My class will be having our Annual Mother's Day Flower Sale next week in the cafeteria during all lunch periods, Monday through Friday. Prices vary from $1 to $8.

This week, we are having a pre-sale for the staff out in the greenhouse. If you would like to start planting early, please email me and we can set up a time for my students to take you on a tour.

Thank you so much for your continued support!! Tracy, Nicole, Karen & Students

Special Thanks

A huge Thank You to the LEH Acme for their generous gift of $250 to both the JHS and HS. Your continued support is greatly appreciated. Congrats and best of luck on your grand re-opening.

Health PSA's

Mrs. Laurence's students created some amazing PSAs about Alcohol, Tobacco, and Drug Abuse. They won awards for being voted the best by their classmates in our First Annual Wildcat Film Festival! Their vids will run on WCAT. A special thanks to Mr. Berry & Mr. Short for making the trophies!
