Flight of Fright
"Better now that we have landed."
When my sister and I arrived at the terminal, I was nervousabout getting on the plane. I had never flown without an adult before in my life. The whole experience was nerve racking. I kept looking over my shoulder to make sure that no one was following us. The reason being is because of all that I have heard on the news about kids getting snatched in various locations.
Then finally we got aboard the airplane and sat down. I was starting to ease up a little bit, when we started to take off. Thatwas when in the back of my mind, I was thinking of all the things that could go wrong with the plane. An hour passed, and the plane started to descend. I knew that my worries were soon going to be over. I was thankful that the transition between states would soon be over and that I would not have to worry anymore. When the plane finally touched down, I was relieved. I could not wait to get out of the airport and into a car and drive to my grandparents’ house.
