2021 Dues are Due

Yearly association dues have been sent to all homeowners along with a board ballot. If you did not receive your bill please contact the office immediately. Dues must be paid in full to participate in activities' events and pool use.

Lakes

With the recent rapid ice thaw the opportunities for fishing in either of lakes has returned. There are an abundance of panfish and some bass have been caught. Fishing is available to all VOCAA members at the clubhouse park, and to everyone at the Village Wood city park. Please stay out of private yards and be a good neighbor with trash, as well as discarded line and hooks.

Lake treatment for algae will begin as required, likely near the end of April. Lakes residents are reminded that they are responsible for following instructions posted in each yard during treatment(s).

Please don't contribute to the algae growth by putting grass clippings or leaves in the lake, and advise your yard contractors too. If you see someone dumping leaves, grass clippings, animal waste, or anything else, you can report it to Novi Code Enforcement officers at (include the offending address) 248-735-5678. The City code 21-165 prohibits dumping anything in any body of water.

Clubhouse Parking Lot

The parking lot is for those who rent out the clubhouse or are using the pool. NO overnight parking or overflow parking for your residence allowed. Violators will be towed.

Speed Limit

The neighborhood speed limit is 25mph. Please remind all those in your household about this. As the weather gets warmer, more neighbors will be out walking and riding bikes. Please go SLOW and remember that we do not have sidewalks.

Bike Riders and Walkers

Please remember to ride your bike or walk on the side of the street. Parents, please remind your children of this as many kids like to ride their bikes in the middle of the road. Let's be courteous to all!

Clubhouse Dumpster

The dumpster is for use of the VOCAA Clubhouse and Pool ONLY!!! All residents are now billed through their summer and winter taxes for trash removal. Please place items at the side of your driveway and do not dump it into the dumpster.

Dogs

Per The City of Novi, all dogs must be walked on a leash. Any residents having issues with this may contact the non-emergency line of the police department. And please pick up your dog poop!

Boats, RVs, Commercial Vehicles

Remember that these items are not allowed to be stored in driveways or on the street for more than 72 hours. This is directly addressed in our Homeowners Covenants and City of Novi ordinances, so please abide by them.

All of the subdivision covenants and bylaws are located on the website for residents to view and print if needed.
