November 10, 2022
Dear PGS Families,
Although it was a shorter week, we packed in so many great things!
On Wednesday Pine Grove students participated in our first PGS is Movin' and Groovin' event. Many students walked to school with staff from the Town Hall Annex, while others arrived at school and walked with Mrs. Boselli and other staff around the field. Students were energized and ready to start their days!
We held a beautiful Veteran's Day assembly today, and we want to thank our veterans for joining us. The students and staff did a wonderful job honoring the bravery and service of all veterans, those who could be here today and those who could not. You are heroes to all of us! Thank you to Ms. Reusch and the student council for organizing such a wonderful assembly today! Thank you to Ms. Meiman for the beautiful music the children sang.
Tomorrow there is no school. We hope you take a moment to remember our veteran heroes.
We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
Warmly,
Nicole and Elyse

A Note From Our Nurse
It was with a heavy heart I share with you that I will be leaving Pine Grove on December 30th, 2022. I have absolutely loved my time at Pine Grove School, but have been given an opportunity to work in my field of expertise as a nurse practitioner, specializing in diabetes. As much as I love it here, this is an opportunity I can't pass up at this time in my career. The Pine Grove staff and students have been nothing but amazing to work with every day and this was not an easy decision. I will continue to support Mrs. LaPerriere and Mrs. Earls as they hire a wonderful new nurse to transition into Pine Grove. Please reach out to me if you have any questions.
Love,
Mrs. Kershaw
Winter Book Fair
We cannot run our Book Fair without volunteers - please join us for one or more classes to help students select books or assist with the check out! Volunteers must either have a valid CORI on file or complete one in the Main Office by December 1. Volunteer sign-up can be found here: Pine Grove School Book Fair: Winter 2022 Book Fair (signupgenius.com).
Start ordering right now ... why wait?
I'm so excited that the artwork arrived at Square One Art and is ready for ordering!
Even before you get your catalogs, you can search for your student's artwork on the site by name and school! When the catalogs arrive, there will be an access code that you can also use to search for the art. Either option works!
This year the catalogs will have 4 FREE STICKERS for your artist! (One on the front and 3 on the back) These are to keep even if you do not order anything. How awesome is that?!
If your student did not finish or turn in their artwork, there is still time to participate(minus the catalog). If you have your child bring me the art, I can upload digitally for you or you can upload from home. The site has great directions to help.
This fundraiser truly is a wonderful way to buy personalized gifts and keepsakes for your family and friends, just in time for the holidays! You will be helping our cozy north wing studio to keep up with materials that get used up quickly as we really get into our work! (One half gallon of acrylic paint can be up to $30)
As always, I truly appreciate your support of the arts!
Creatively yours,
Jen Dubis
