REMINDER: e-Learning in Naperville 203
When weather or other emergencies dictate that school cannot be open for students, Naperville 203 may use e-Learning days to provide our students with a continuation of learning. If Naperville 203 plans to use an e-Learning day, the district will communicate early, using different modes of communication so all students, families, and guardians are aware of the learning structure.
TONIGHT: S.U.C.C.E.S.S - Celebrate. Educate. Empower! Event Series: Belonging
Please join us tonight for a powerful discussion about what it means to "BELONG in 203" at 6 p.m. at Naperville North. Dinner will be served at no cost and raffle prizes will be awarded!
Madison Jr. High Assistant Principal is honored with a Quilt of Valor.
The Rotary Club of Naperville in partnership with the Quilts of Valor Foundation honored Staff Sergeant Richard Bain for his service in the U.S. Army with a Quilt of Valor today at the Rotary Salutes Veterans Luncheon. Staff Sergeant Bain was first stationed in Anchorage Alaska but in 2006 was deployed to Iraq in the Airborne Infantry where he served until 2007. Later he reenlisted, and was selected to become part of the Old Guard at Arlington National Cemetery, Ft. Myers, VA. As a Non Commissioned Officer he had the honor of leading teams whose responsibilities were to receive the remains of our fallen veterans from overseas. Mr. Bain is an Assistant Principal at Madison Jr. High School. Thank you Mr. Bain for your service and sacrifice in serving our nation.
Holiday Giving Program goes live November 16!
On November 16, we invite you to participate in the Holiday Giving Program and extend the joy of the season to our students enrolled at the Ann Reid Early Childhood Center, Naperville 203 elementary, junior high, high schools and our Connection program. School social workers have identified families who need extra help providing gifts this season for their children. Parent for students at the elementary level create a wish list that may include toys, books, and clothing. Junior high and high school level students are given gift cards purchased by the district through cash donations. All these wishes are fulfilled with the help of generous families, like yours.
A separate Talk203 E-Newsletter will be sent on November 15 with more details and a link that will go live at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16.
