Spanish Honor Society - Pulersa Sale
The Spanish Honors Society hosted its first “pulersa sale” at CB West.
The slogan of the Pulsera Project is “color the world”, and Spanish Honors Society members sold these beautiful hand-made Nicaraguan bracelets in hopes of “coloring West”.
The Pulsera Project is a nonprofit organization that educates, empowers, and connects Central American artists with students in more than 1,600 U.S. schools through the sale of the colorful handwoven bracelets, brightening U.S. schools with art and compelling cultural education while employing nearly 200 artists and investing proceeds to create lasting change in Central American communities.
Each bracelet was sold for $5.00, and a total of 360 bracelets were sold at CB West totaling $1,800!
The society would like to thank the administration and staff for their cooperation and support of the sales and also to every student or teacher for their purchase!
Gracias!
