STAFF ONLY:
- Spirit Week: What is MORE fun than modeling school spirit by dressing up for spirit week? Tuesday is pajama day! Pajama on!
- Instructional Rounds: Please view your calendar for instructional rounds part 2 dates. Several departments are scheduled for next week. This follow up is great for gathering data on growth within the department and determining next steps for their specified area.
- 7th/8th Class Visits: Please view your email for a special Tues morning schedule of class visits beginning at 8:15am from admin and counselors.
- Purge: We are moving! A suggestion and reminder if you want packing to be efficient; start thinking about and visiting what's in your classroom to see if it really needs to go to your new space. Toss it! View your email for an intro to packing directions and labels.
- 916 Area Code: Did you know? There's a new area code embedded within the 916 area. This means...you now need to dial 916 for any 916 number...even though you're residing within the 916 area.
- Q3 trash pick-up: In addition to helping on these dates, please spend time in Advisory reflecting on choices after sharing about trash concerns and caring about our school community last week. It's improving! Dates for clean up: 2/20-Qasmi & Ounkeo; 2/21-Kees & Davis; 2/23-Larin & Berry.
- 6th SOM: 2/23
- School Attendance: School attendance is important and we need your help to keep our attendance numbers high! If you have an Advisory kiddo who is missing school, please make contact with home.
- Parent Conferences: Please send parent notices out Mon 2/26.
- SLC Prep: There is long Advisory/no enrich or intervention the week of 3/5 to prep for your advisory SLCs.
- ELPAC: The EPLAC is coming! What is the ELPAC you might say? It is the updated assessment for ELL students - it is replacing CELDT (similar to reasons for SBAC replacing CST). What does this mean for you? It means we will be assessing kids prior to spring break and which will include a special schedule. Thank you in advance for being flexible with students missing class time.
- Leadership Day: Lighthouse needs your response! Please make sure you fill out this doc in regards to your action team and what they will be doing on Leadership Day! Info is needed by 2/28. If you have questions please see your Lighthouse Rep! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ai6HhbOBk4hk4ECWrKKrDDqudqHdcP60NdUyLbPH12Q/edit#gid=753293076
