St. Louis Area Mensa Scholarship for Mental Health - The Mensa Education & Research Foundation college scholarship program bases its awards totally on essays written by the applicants. Missouri Insurance Education Foundation - The Board has approved one $2500 and five $2000 scholarships. These can be awarded to graduating seniors interested in pursuing an insurance, risk management or actuarial course of study. Deadline for application is March 31, 2019. The American Association of University Women - will award a $500 scholarship to a young woman who is a senior in one of the St. Charles County high schools. Applicant must be in the upper 10 percent of her class, be active in school affairs, and show evidence of high character. Must be postmarked by March 11, 2019 - Come to Guidance for an application.
Missouri Bankers Foundation - Applicants must be high school seniors who have exhibited academic achievement and /or economic need. Students should be planning to enroll in a full-time course of study leading to a major in a field to banking. The application form ust be signed by an officer of a Missouri Bankers Association member bank. Applications are on the Guidance website and must be postmarked by March 8, 2019
The American Legion Post 312 - will be awarding a $500 scholarship to a SCWest graduate who is related to a veteran. Submit a resume, proof that you are related to a veteran, and a paragraph on why you should receive this scholarship. Deadline: April 26, 2019
Dr. Clark Cilek Scholarship - Seniors must have a 3.3 GPA unweighted or higher. Three teacher recommendations. Students applying need to submit their future education plans and goals and explain why education is a lifelong commitment. (one page) College acceptance. Scholarships will be awarded to students who are classified as full time students only (minimum of 12 credit hours). Deadline: April 5, 2019 to the Guidance Office.
