Team Bring It
'Team Bring It' investigated speed and acceleration through a 60 metre sprint challenge. The group members decided to take reading every 20 metres to calculate speed and acceleration. Students found the activity thoroughly enjoyable and were able to consolidate their understanding of acceleration. Muaaz’ efforts were rewarded as he took first place with an amazing 'Team Bring It' average record of 7.63 m/s.
Team Bring It at Alton Towers
'Team Bring It' went to Alton Towers to investigate motion and force in a fun way. The students were given equipment to use and come up with good scientiifc experiments to calcuate acceleration and force using Newton’s second law. After the scientific experiments the team split into small groups and were allowed to enjoy themselves.
Worthy ambassadors as they are; the school was commendably represented - with students consistently demonstrating all three core values.
Above all, learning was secure and students thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
