Thank you to families who were able to attend Curriculum Night and the PTA meeting. Life is hectic, so don't hesitate to contact your child's teacher if you need anything. School is off to a great start, and the students are settling into a wonderful year. If you are able, please help support the Boosterthon fundraiser so we can purchase additional playscapes for students. Tuesday is the last day to support students! Because of the weather, the run will be moved to the gym during students' specials. The Boosterthon team will turn the run into a GLOW RUN. Space will be limited, but you are welcome to attend. Parents will need to check- in at the gym.

Mrs. Brown's 4th grade class won their Boosterthon pledge challenge and pranked the Principals' Office.

Thank you for serving on Arcado's school council, Sophia Jetpuri, Adrienne Simmons, and GP Patel. Members serve for two years and can also run again. Who Serves on a School Council?

“At a minimum, a School Council is composed of seven members:”

· The Principal

· Two certificated teachers elected by the teachers

· Four parents (or guardians) elected by the parents; two of the parents must be business persons

· The school council may, within its bylaws, increase the number of members as long as the parents remain the majority.

The Thakkar family loves Arcado Teachers. Thank you for providing the entire staff lunch. The teachers were so appreciative. The Thakkar family owns the Subway in Walmart and has regularly provided lunch for our teachers. Feeding 112 faculty members is no easy task. Thank you!
