Student work completed during the mandated statewide school closure will not negatively impact a student’s grades or otherwise impact a student’s academic standing. As we do not yet know the full extent of the closure and want to minimize any negative effects on students. Tilden High School will allow student work to count during the closure only to increase a student’s academic standing. The purpose of the work is to provide extended learning opportunities to students. Enrichment activities give students more time to study concepts with greater depth, breadth, and complexity. Enrichment activities also provide opportunities for students to pursue learning in their own areas of interest and strengths. We encourage all students to take advantage of this opportunity and we look forward to supporting you through this process.
