Spartan Spotlight
November 2021
Dear Spartans,
The calendar is turning to November, and we have completed half of the first semester of our 2021-2022 school year. It has been another interesting start to a school year. We are still wearing masks and contact tracing. Shots and boosters are becoming available for a larger number of people and fans have been back at activities. It is getting closer to normal.
On a positive note, we have had all activities open to our students and fans. The bleachers have been full on many occasions and I know our student athletes and coaches have appreciated your support. Many of our fall sports have wrapped up for another year and we had positive results in many of those activities. Our football team and volleyball teams are still playing so come out and support our spartan family.
As we transition into November, we will have our first musical of the year and concerts are on the calendar. We will have playoffs for football and volleyball while many of our winter activities will begin throughout the month. Never a dull moment in a high school.
COVID is still a major topic and we just don’t know when “normal” will be back. I don’t know what the future will bring, but I do know we will continue to create a safe learning environment to support our strong academic history. We all appreciate your continued support as we move through another school year.
Sincerely,
Mark Blanshan
Assistant Principal
