Shout Outs!
I plan to stop by several classes before school begins this week to read and comment in some of the student's reading journals.
Thanks,
Dr. H
Shout outs also to you for the positive trend we are seeing in our IStation reports. You are helpig your students move in the right direction. We have not seen an upward trend in our reports since we began using IStation as our universal screener. Your hard work is paying off. Please do not stop. Let this motivate you! Please share these positive results with your students.
Campus PLC Wednesday
Your department PLCs will be devoted to your data binders and working through any potential kinks in intervention plans. Remember, your intervention plans are due to Dr. H on Monday.
As we have shared previously, these meetings are opportunities to not only learn from one another, but to learn together how we can move ALL students forward. Thanks for attending these meetings with that idea in mind.
Walkthrough Focus This Week
Please review the descriptors from the TTESS rubric provided below.
Schedule your Observation
One advantage of having your observation conducted early is that should the lesson score low in a particular domain, your appraiser has an opportunity on subsequent walkthroughs to see growth and improvement which can be noted on the summative evaluation.
