Galvan Elementary Updates

Dear Galvan Family,

We made it through the Big Freeze and it's finally behind us. We've really missed our Explorers! Our Faculty and Support Staff are ready to receive all our Explorers back face-to-face or remotely Monday, February 22, 2021. We are stronger together when we keep moving forward no matter what obstacles come our way!

In honor of Kindness Month we'd like to have everyone participate in dress up days starting this Tuesday thru Friday. See Calendar below for detials.

This week marks the 5th week of the 4th grading period. The deadline for parents to sign up their child face-to-face for the 5th graing period is February 26, 2021 for our remote learners. Please call the front office for further information.

Continue Kindness Month

Each day we are encouraging our Explorers to show random acts of kindness to one another by giviing someone a smile, a short kind note, or pay someone a compliment. Kindness is free and helps make the world a better place for everyone.

Safety Reminders

Please make sure to self-screen your family daily to avoid the spread of COVID-19. If your child has any of the Covid Symptoms please contact our school Nurse Ms. Diaz at 361-878-2800 before returning to school each day. Our priority is Safety First for our school community and everyone's support and cooperation is greatly appreciated!

Everyone have a great and safe week!

Your Proud Principal,

Diana S. Ybarra
