Bear Tracks
May 23, 2021 • Updates from Roosevelt Elementary
Having our Bears back in school for full-time, in-person learning will be amazing. We'll still follow all health and safety guidelines, so it still won't be exactly a "normal" year like 2 years ago (for example, we'll continue social distancing while learning and eating, continue increased hand washing, etc.). But, the important thing is to be back together for in-person learning. Stay connected to our Roosevelt website, Bear Tracks and the Remind app for updates during the summer.

Mrs. Jodie Mitchell, who received the award last week, chose Mrs. Julie Fry, and here's what she wrote about Mrs. Fry:
- I am passing the Spirit of the Bear award to Mrs. Julie Fry because she is the kind of teacher that I dream of becoming! Her knowledge of science inspires me to always want to learn more. The way she encourages her students to engage, learn, and get excited about school is truly magical. Mrs. Fry, you may not know this, but for the last 23 years I have watched and have always admired your passion, work ethic, and creativity.
Congratulations, Mrs. Fry, for living out the Spirit of the Bear every day!
Congratulations to this week's Roosevelt WHEEL OF PIZZA winners! These amazing students won free pizza delivery for dinner for their families! Thank you to each student and family member for all of your hard work to get to school/Google Meet every day and turn in al of yoru work! Thank you also to the Yakima Schools Foundation for your financial support!
Congratulations to all of our students who are meeting their goals on Imagine Learning!!
