Accelerated Reading Party this Friday!
Congratulations to our students who read a lot of books this first semester and earned their first Accelerated Reading party this Friday. They will be having a “winter beach” party in the gym. Students can wear Hawaiian or beach shirts with a “coat” and bring their beach towels if they choose. Be looking in your child’s Tuesday folder to see if they reached their first-semester goal. They will receive a letter from Mrs. Bartlett if they did meet their goal. We are working on the next party right now. So, keep reading.

Snack Shack - New Format
Beginning in January 2022, the format of Snack Shack will be a little different. Once a month, we will sell snacks, including various chips, juice, and water with or without flavor during recess only. This is partly due to supply chain issues causing us to not be sure of the items we will be able to purchase for reselling, and partly to allow our class a more-hands on approach to learning important life skills. No order forms will be sent home. During recess, your student can come to our patio area next to the library and make their purchase. The price remains the same: $2.00 for chips and a drink. Please remember Snack Shack raises funds for our Community-Based Instruction class. This allows our students to learn vital life, community, and functional skills. Thank you for continuing to support our class and what we do. Our next Snack Shack will be Wednesday, January 19 during each grade level’s recess time.
