Pledge-Style Fundraiser - Argyle MS
Our spring fundraiser has just begun! Students will be raising money using the Fund Hub platform from now through March 17. This is a pledge-style fundraiser, and students will participate in a whole-school Wellness Day focused on building resilience on March 8, including a Read-a-Thon, a Math-a-Thon, a Walk-a-Thon, and a Code-a-Thon. Please login to the Fund Hub platform to set up your child's account and share their link with family and friends who would be interested in donating to our cause! All proceeds will go toward offsetting the cost of grade-level field trips that enhance student learning at Argyle.
Please see the linked kickoff flyer for more information.

MSDE School Survey
State law requires that all public schools in Maryland survey students about school climate. The purpose is to gain valuable information about the quality and character of each school’s learning environment so that schools can promote a climate that supports student learning. Students will take the Maryland School Survey during regular school hours on March 15, 2023, which is an early-release day. The survey will ask students about topics such as student engagement, interactions with adults and with other students in the school, the school environment, bullying, and safety. The survey will not ask about a student’s personal experiences, and students will not be asked to provide any information that might violate their privacy.

Confiscated Devices - Parent Pick Up
As we continue with the second half of the school year, you may receive a call for "device parent pick-up." For students who have had their personal devices turned into the main office 3 or more times, a parent will be called to pick up the device, rather than returning the device to the student at the end of the school day. Phones, AirPods, headphones, and similar personal devices should only be accessed by students during their lunch. Students may not use their personal devices during class or in the hallways. Students may not use headphones in the hallways during transitions.

SchoolCash Online helps parents/guardians and community members pay school-related fees safely, quickly, and easily. SchoolCash Online will help increase efficiency and security at schools by making payments directly into schools’ bank accounts and eliminating the need for teachers to handle money. In addition, once registered, you will be immediately informed about school activities!
