Art to Remember update: Order forms for Art to Remember are going home for grades 1-5 on or before March 3rd. Families may choose to purchase online or not at all. All ordering will be done online with your child's unique student number. All proceeds will benefit the art and music programs. If you have any questions, please email me at bcollins@sd308.org.
Clay comes back to Prairie Point! During the second week of March all students K-5 will be creating their own clay object. If a child happens to be out that week, I will personally make one for them. The clay will dry for at least 7 days before being fired in the art room kiln. Each child will be able to paint their clay and bring it home a day or two later. Clay is one of my most favorite media!! Woo hoo!
Does your family use premade frosting for cakes or cookies? If so, please save the clean container and lid. These plastic cups have a wide variety of uses in the art room!
Ask your child what new amazing things they are working on in art!!
