As this Year Comes to A close

Students, parents and staff, I want to thank you for what has been an incredibly successful 2022-2023 school year. It has been an honor to work along the staff at TDS and watch our teachers and students strive for excellence this academic year.

As we move into May, I would like to congratulate our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students who worked tirelessly during the month of April to complete STAAR testing in Math, and Science. We still have Math, which will be giving on May 2nd.

Parents, please make sure your students arrive to school on time and ready to continue learning new material until the last day of school. Some teachers will be preparing students for next year while others have prepared exciting units of brand new topics to make sure we are all growing through June 1st.

I finally want to reiterate my thanks to everyone who has made this year possible. To the parents of the students at TDS, without your long-standing support, our students would not have the tools necessary to come to school every day and work hard with academic rigor. To the students, thank you for persevering and showing up each day to try your best. To the staff, thank you for volunteering your time to not only make TDS one of the strongest academic schools in the Ysleta community, but also a fun place to work.

I'm looking forward to an even stronger 2023-2024 school year.
