Richland One Digital Learning Enivornment: Tech Tip of the Day monthy calendar

Reference Section
The library now has a reference section with the 2015 World Book Encyclopedias, along with a number of other reference materials for students to use when doing research. Come by and check it out.
Fall Book Club Ungifted by Gordon Korman
About 15 fourth and fifth grade students meet three times in the month of November to read and discuss the book "Ungifted" by Gordon Korman. Along with lively discussion and food, students also participated in a writing activity, created a robot, and learned a number of new words. It was a great time for all. Thank you to Mrs. Woodyard for her co leading this great group of kids.

Read Around the Planet
Registration is now open for Read Around the Planet. This an opportunity for students and teachers to interact and connect with students and teachers across the United States and overseas. If you are interested participating in Read Around the Planet stop by the library.

Library Helpers
The Rosewood library has a group of fourth and fifth grade students who are assisting in the library by shelving books. Students will also help with book displays, placing the Visual Literacy Contest posters around the school and other assistance as needed.
