Third Grade
3rd graders value the time they get to peer edit their writing. This provides young authors a sense of how their readers really “experience” their writing.

Sixth Grade
Students in Rad-6 read "Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes." The book tells the story of a girl affected by war. Sadako goes on a mission to fold 1,000 paper cranes so that she can get a special wish. After reading the book, students in Rad-6 tried their hand at origami as they folded their own paper cranes.
PEN Class
5th and 6th grade PEN students explore the field of robotics through the use of Lego Mindstorms NXT and EV3 robots. They have been learning how to expand on their knowledge of basic Lego bricks by using the Lego technic pieces and robot parts to create and program autonomous robots!

Quest Class
5th graders collaborating on completing a circuit in QUEST.
First Grade Guest Reader
We love when older students read to our class! Thank you, Mrs. Rosztoczy for supporting this by sending your students to read to us! Alex Hannon was our guest reader today!
Reading Fun!
Mrs. Zielinski's second graders read about animal homes and put the steps needed to build an eagle's nest in the correct sequence.
Buddy Activity
Mrs. Story and Mrs. Hayden’s buddy classes enjoyed some Thanksgiving activities together. The children designed a zip line as a way for their turkeys to escape the farm. Buddies researched the holiday on EPIC, designed symmetrical turkeys, and origami bookmarks too.
