Dear Parents and Carers,
We've made it to the end of another term! I really don't know where the time goes.
This week has been full of the joys of spring as our key stage two classes visited church for an Easter service led beautifully by Year 6. Key stage one and EYFS gathered together at school for their service led by Revd. Paulie. The children sang well at both services and enjoyed the chance to celebrate together.
Year 6 came back to school this week following their residential at PGL. It was clear to see they had had a fantastic time and we are all very proud of the resilience they showed attempting new challenges. I am sure they are looking forward to a rest next week and I would like to thank Mrs Cameron, Mrs Mawson and Mrs Parnaby for giving up their time to take them.
Yesterday we welcomed three MAT school leaders to our school to review an aspect of school life. It was a very informative and useful exercise and they recognised that we clearly know our children and families very well and that our staff are committed to achieving the very best outcomes for all our children.
Finally, the children have had lots of fun enjoying 'Yes' day today with a variety of clothes, hair dye, nail varnish and other additions to school uniform. The money raised will be going to the Friends of Kirk Fenton and will eventually find its way back into school to support the children.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a safe and peaceful Easter break. We return to school at 8:50am on Monday 25th April.

Our junior groups meet between 9.30 and 10.45 and they are a great way to build musical confidence and to make new friends. We offer a strings group for violin, viola and cello, a guitar group and junior band for woodwind, brass and keyboards. Places are subject to availability.
