Microsoft Office 2010 - Day Camp!
An Opportunity to get clock hours by June 30th.

3 CLOCK HOURS (2 face-to-face w/1 hr of independent work)
Learn to create visually rich documents (newsletters, brochures, correspondence, templates, etc) fast. Discover Word’s 'tools' giving users the ability to easily work/format text, shapes, pictures, and more in documents. We don't stop there....Word is loaded with tips and tricks to make your life (and students) easier!

Word II:
Learn to create and navigate TABLES in word for organizing information. Discover and use the calendar wizard to create calendars. Why create documents from scratch when you can use templates? Learn how to create and save your own templates or find templates online; flyers, newsletters, programs, etc. Get more familiar with the Picture/Table, etc Tools Tabs.

Excel I:
Are you new to Excel? Not sure if Excel is for you? Do you have a love/hate relationship with Excel? Apprehensive about numbers and formulas? NO WORRIES! Our Excel class has received RAVE REVIEWS from beginners and pros alike! Learn to create rich, visually compelling worksheets, tables, charts, and graphs utilizing Excel’s organization, filter, and formatting features. Discover the ease and take the fear out of creating and using formulas to manage your data. And we don't forget tips and tricks here either!

Publisher gives you the power to create, print, and share professional-quality publications. Spend more time with creating publications; flyers, newsletters, brochures, etc. Get comfortable with adding/moving/formatting textboxes, images, shapes. Learn to save publisher publications as .pdf (so everyone can view) and share via email effortlessly.

Instructor Information
Jeri has been our lead Microsoft trainer for over 10 years and also provides Media Resource training. She provides training at ESD 113 and off-site at our school districts. Jeri has a knack for tailoring our Microsoft classes to the audience's needs and specializes in replacing the 'techie' language with layman's language making the applications easier to understand and use. Her classes are well-attended and receive great feedback.
