Pine Hollow Middle School
June 1, 2020
Dear Parents,
Wow... what a year! I'm so proud of our students for remaining positive during challenging times and persevering when things got tough. We continually saw students striving to be their best, and were all so impressed to see kids continue to grow and improve even during the school closure. I know this was hard on everyone, so please give your children lots of hugs and high fives as they finish the year - their efforts deserve applause from all of us. And please accept a huge THANK YOU from our staff for taking on the role of our teaching assistants at home! I know it wasn't easy, but we appreciated all you did to help your children fill in the gaps where we could not from afar. Thank you!
I will be in touch in the coming weeks and months as our state, county, district and school site map out plans for the fall. It will be a unique start, but hopefully smooth. My goal is to continually communicate our plans and how it will impact your children. Thank you for always supporting Pine Hollow and for helping to make it the great school it is! Have a great final week, a great summer, and Go Mustangs!

8th Grade Promotion This Wednesday
This Wednesday we are hosting our 8th Grade Promotion event! This event is sponsored by the PTSA and will be a drive-through event where all 8th graders will arrive during their time slot to drive through campus with their family, be cheered on by staff, take a picture at our special photo backdrop, and receive a yard sign. Please click here to view all the details of the event, and remember to adhere to the County health directives and the following guidelines:
- Limit of one car per student/family.
- Please arrive on-time for your time slot.
- Enter the first, smaller circle (in front of the Multi-Use Room) FIRST. Someone will be there to direct you to the main drop off/pick up circle once it is clear.
- Remain in the car until directed to get out.
- When directed, students will leave the car, retrieve a sign from the designated table, and take a photo in front of our backdrop.
- There will be no personal exchange of items.

If your child received an A, B, or C during Quarter 3, they will be given a CREDIT mark for that class for Quarter 4 and Semester 2. Report Cards will be mailed out the week of June 8th. Please contact your teachers if you have questions about assignments, scores, or grades.
